CennamonZimt's Cinnamon 'Zine

About me:

Hiya \o/
My name is Celia, but it's usually shortened to Ce (that's pronounced like the word "see") I was born in September of 2004, I go by she/her pronouns, and am from the UK.

I draw, drum, and am studying to make furniture along with other home decor.
Some of my other interests include learning Alt-Rock trivia [Late '80s - Early '00s specifically],
exploring "Fairygrunge" fashion, and collecting only the crustiest of Pinterest memes.

Notice how socialising isn't on that list? Yeah. Still need to work on that...
That's basically me :)

Feel free to nosy around, that's the (short) reason I made this place :D

The WHOLE REASON I made this website:

I'll try make this as short as possible but no promises lol-

As we all know to absolute death by now, social media has become too big, it's overly personal with its constant demand for your time and data, yet it's also completely impersonal in the sense you can only express yourself within the boundaries set by those in charge. By their boundaries and algorithms specialised for profit, they're funneling us into bite-size, easily malleable catagories of personality, for the sole sake of their marketing schemes.
Over time I came to this realisation, and later on during a search for greener digital pastures I stumbled upon The YESTERWEB.

The YesterWeb was a collective that brought back the ability for each internet user to fully express their own creativity and uniqueness, which in turn brings back power to the user. The ideal goal of the movement was to irradicate the "centralised" web entirely

You may have noticed, this page you're reading is hosted by "Neocities", which is a very simple way to create your own home page for free. (REAL free. I ain't selling you sh*t!) There are other services you can use too, this is just the one I chose.
Setting up your own personal page is a great step towards reclaiming that innovative and purposeful internet we were originally promised.

If you were into that ramble then just get a load of -> THIS!
